About W.I.N.
W.I.N. brings over 30 years of experience working with students ages infant to adult with a wide range of abilities and challenges and in many learning environments. My specialized training in many areas of literacy allows me to create uniquely designed lessons catering to the individual student's immediate academic needs in reading, writing, presentation, and elementary basic math skills.
I am a K-6 Tier 4 Minnesota licensed elementary teacher with a Master's in Curriculum & Instruction for Literacy and a Minnesota Foundations of Adult Education Tutoring certificate. I have been trained in Orton-Gilingham, Lindamood-Bell, Handwriting Without Tears, Step Up to Writing, AVID (Elementary), and more.
Here at W.I.N., I offer three main services, including:
• A comprehensive line of services for students in K-12 diagnosed with learning disabilities (such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, and ADHD) or just needing an academic boost.
• A learning coach available for adults learning the English language (including reading, writing, and speech)
• Educational consultation and resources for homeschooling families
